Those who enjoy a journey of the senses to a destination off the mainstream tourist track will love discovering the AVOCA WINE FESTIVAL as a part of Pyrenees Unearthed.
Pyrenees Unearthed is an all-new festival that brings together Wine, Art and Thoroughbred Racing in a spectacular region well removed from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The inaugural festival will provide plenty to do for families, wine and art lovers, and for the budget savvy with campsites available at the Avoca Racecourse for just $15 per night across the entire ANZAC Day long weekend.
The weekend program featuring the AVOCA WINE FESTIVAL also includes the Avoca Art Exhibition & Sale, Artists Awards Gala, Mount Mitchell Estate Open Garden, Cellar Door Experiences, Avoca Riverside Markets, Bonfire Bash, ANZAC Day Dawn Services and the Jayco ANZAC Day Races.
Located along the banks of the Avoca River, the AVOCA WINE FESTIVAL will have plenty to drink, eat and do with Live Music all day, FREE Kids’ Activities, Petanque Activities, Table Games and much more. A tasting ticket will provide a tasting pass to unearth wines from around fifteen local wineries in your own souvenir Pyrenees Unearthed glass. Prickly Moses craft beer and cider will also be on offer. Masterclasses with local winemakers are also available to pre-book.
